The Society has a collection of over 12,000 artifacts - furniture, textiles and other decorative arts; carpentry, craft, fishing and agricultural tools; wagons, small craft, marine artifacts and miscellaneous household items, predominantly local in origin and recognized as the most important resource for understanding the material culture of Eastern Long Island.
