Parking
Limited street parking is available at the following sites: Mulford Farm, Clinton Academy, Osborn-Jackson House, and Moran Studio. We recommend parking on James Lane or the south side of Main Street. Please follow posted parking regulations.
The East Hampton Town Marine Museum has very limited on-site parking and street parking is available.
Public Transportation
The East Hampton Long Island Rail Road Station is located on Railroad Ave. in East Hampton. This station is on the Montauk Branch of the LIRR and is accessible from Penn Station in New York City and all other stations of the LIRR.
The Osborn-Jackson house is a short 10-minute walk from the train station. Turn right onto Newtown Lane, then turn right onto Main Street. The Osborn-Jackson House will be on your right.
Directions
From New York City and points West
Take the I-495/Long Island Expwy to exit 70 toward Eastport/Manorville. Then continue to NY-27E. Follow NY-27E for 20 miles, then turn left onto Montauk Hwy/NY-27. Turn left onto Main St. Clinton Academy will be on your right.
From Montauk and points East
Follow Montauk Hwy/NY-27. This road becomes Main Street in East Hampton. Clinton Academy will be on your right.
From Points North
Shelter Island
Check the schedule for the South Ferry Company. Once off the ferry go south on Ferry Rd/NY- 114. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto NY-114. Turn right onto Division St/NY-114. Continue to follow NY-114 for 6 miles. Turn left onto Main St/NY-27. Clinton Academy will be on your right.
Connecticut
Ferries are also available from Connecticut to Long Island, New York. Check the Orient Point and Greenport ferry schedules.
